Excel Tips - Tip 27 (Using ROMAN Formulae)

Hello,

Hope my excel tips are helping you out.

Here is Today’s tip for you. Hope this help you.

If ever we want to Convert a Number into ROMAN Value, then use ROMAN Command to Convert the same.


What Does It Do ?

This function produces a number shown as Roman numerals in various formats.

How to use it ?

'=ROMAN(NormalNumber,RomanNumberFormat)


For example, please check the images.




Bonus Tip :

The Roman Number Format can be any of the following.

·         0 is Classic. This is used if no format is specified.
·         1 is more Concise.
·         2 is even more Concise.
·         3 is even more Concise still.
·         4 is Simplified.
·         TRUE is Classic
·         FALSE is Simplified
